Jessica Chestain came to Cannes not only red paths for the sake of, but also to present the film "The most drunken district in the world" (Lawless). This was done by the actress with Tom Hardy, Shayya Labef and Mia Vasikosk in the photo collect.

This retro drama is the work of the hands noted in Venice (for "Sentence" and "The road") director John Hill Coat, who was inspired this time by stories of time "dry law" in the USA.

The plot is based on real events (and the book of the same name) and talks about the brothers who organize a gang that hunts illegal alcohol production. Their affairs are going well until they once encounter local guardians of the law (in the person of Gaya Pierce), and this confrontation spills into a bloody massacre.

Only the love of their faithful companions (Chestin and Vasikosk) and a sharp word from the hero Gary Oldman, who commanded the smugglers, helps the brothers.
