Movie "Princess Monaco", in which Grace Kelly played the role of Nicole Kidman, has not yet been released, and scandals flare up around him every now and then. At first, the son of Grace, Prince of Monaco Albert, criticized the project. Now the creators of the picture are conflicting among themselves – director Olivier Daan and producer Harvey Weinstein.
In his interview with Liberal, the French director accuses Weinstein of cutting out a number of important scenes, according to Daan:
There are two versions of the film – mine and him, and, in my opinion, this is a disaster.
According to the director, the producer decided to make from this project "Purely commercial product", Why remove from it "Everything related to cinema and generally to real life".
Daana, this behavior of Weintshain offended to the core. In an interview, he says:
Decisions were made exclusively for marketing reasons… They made a trailer that did not reflect the essence of the film, and then tried to redo the film so that it corresponds to the trailer. It’s just absurd.
From Harvey Weinstein, no comments were received, and the film industry insiders say that such situations are a common thing, and after spectator testing from films, certain scenes often cut out.
